For this week’s Friday Vibes Video, here’s Arrested Development’s 1992 classic, “Mr. Wendal,” an aural reminder that homeless people are indeed people who should not be ignored, dismissed or disrespected. If you see a homeless person this weekend, take a moment to lend them a hand or, just as importantly, an ear.

Originally recording in San Francisco in the late 80s and 90s, Doug Hream Blunt’s had a later-in-life renaissance as of late, re-releasing his music on David Byrne’s Luaka Bop label, performing in Brooklyn last year at a Pitchfork-sponsored show and showing up in the indie-cum-HBO hit High Maintenance.

As we all prepare for our weekends, here are two original, circa 1990-1992 Doug Hream Blunt music videos: “Ride the Tiger” and “Caribbean Queen,” as well as a recording of “Fly Guy,” the track that appeared in High Maintenance. Find out more at Luaka Bop.
